THE DEATH OF CHRIST

HIS DEATH REMINDS US OF THE DESPERATE CONDITION OF OUR LIVES.

A. We did not have peace with God. Colossians 1:19-20

B. We are enemies of God if we do not have Jesus as our Savior.

C. How does the death of Christ remind us of our condition? Because He was dying for our sins.

HIS DEATH REMINDS US OF HOW WE HAVE BEEN RECONCILED TO GOD. COLOSSIANS 1:22

A. Reconciled means we have been brought in union with Him.

John 1:12

B. What enabled this transformation to occur? One event. The death of Christ.

REMEMBER HIS DEATH AS IT REMINDS US OF WHAT IT ENABLES US TO BECOME. COLOSSIANS 1:22

A. We can be presented holy in the sight of God.

B. Presented without blemish.

C. Free from accusation.
